How Trenchless Sewer Repair Works
During trenchless sewer service, our team makes one or two small access points at the ends of the line. Using these entry points, we can diagnose the problem with a camera inspection and complete repairs underground without major disruption to your property.
Once we identify the issue, our plumbers determine the most effective trenchless solution. One of the most common methods is cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) relining. This process works well when the existing sewer line is structurally sound but has cracks, corrosion, or small leaks. We insert a flexible liner coated with a special epoxy resin into the damaged pipe. Once positioned, we inflate it to form a tight seal against the sewer line’s interior. When the resin cures and hardens, it creates a new, seamless pipe within the line.
For more severe damage, such as collapsed sections or major blockages, our team may recommend pipe bursting. In this method, we use a specialized head to break apart the old pipe while simultaneously pulling a new, durable pipe into place. Both CIPP relining and pipe bursting are long-term solutions that meet or exceed current plumbing standards and can extend the life of your sewer line by decades.
There are several benefits to trenchless sewer services:
- Reduced overall costs
- Faster than traditional solutions
- Long-lasting repair
- Less disruption to your property
Trenchless Sewer Repair vs. Traditional Methods
Trenchless sewer repair is a modern alternative to traditional excavation methods that saves time, money, and your landscaping.
Traditionally, we would have to dig a trench along the pipe, which is a labor-intensive project. In addition, trenchless repairs save you the hassle of reseeding your lawn and repairing any other damage.
