How Trenchless Sewer Repair Works
The trenchless repair method fixes a sewer line without digging a long trench through your yard. The trenchless sewer repair plumber sends a small video camera into the sewer line. The camera footage then appears on a monitor for viewing. The footage makes it easy to spot the damage and to see how far it goes. Pinpointing the problem makes it possible to work from one or two small access points.
Advantages of No-Dig Sewer Repair
The biggest advantage is that the camera helps locate cracks, breaks, or blockages inside the sewer line. We perform the repair inside the pipe, so the digging is minimal.
Pipe Relining and Bursting Services
Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) relining is like putting a new lining inside a damaged pipe. The process starts with cleaning the pipe and sliding in a resin-covered liner. We inflate the liner, so it presses tightly against the inside of the pipe. Our plumber then uses heat, steam, or ultraviolet light to harden the resin. The liner becomes solid and forms a new pipe inside the old one. The damaged pipe is still there, but the new inner pipe is doing all the work.
Sometimes a pipe is too far gone for relining, so pipe bursting replacement is an option. A bursting head tool slides into the damaged pipe. The tool splits the old pipe apart while pulling a new pipe into its place. Pieces of the old pipe remain in the ground, so removal is unnecessary. The process takes place underground without disturbing your property.
Both methods prevent the need to dig long trenches on your Rancho Palos Verdes property. Trenchless repair is the easiest way to fix serious problems deep underground.
